"My adult sons attendance at ED"

About: York Hospital / Accident and emergency

(as a parent/guardian),

After advice from 111 doctor we were advised to attend the Emergency Department at York for a walk in appointment in the early hours on a Sunday.  Obviously as a walk in you do not see what is going on in the majors side but I assume this was very busy.

Despite this my son was treated in a professional and empathetic way and we felt fortunate to be dealt with in 4 hours despite the board saying over 6 hour wait.

Thank you for your continued hard work despite al the pressures and  the ongoing building work.
