"Excellent care from everyone I met."

About: Royal Bournemouth Hospital

After a fall my daughter brought me to A and E as advised by my surgery. Everyone in the hospital was so kind and caring and explained what would happen at each stage including the radiographers. I was in shock and didn’t remember people’s names and when asked which doctor saw me I said ”the lovely one”! He was. As I hadn’t broken my hip I was allowed home as long as I had someone there. So a very big thank you from me and my family.

Special mention should go one receptionist who was shouted at by one couple who were very rude to her and dealt with them politely and efficiently.

Dear Cynthia

Thank you for sharing your experience with us, it sounds stressful and painful and we hope you are now recovering well.

We are pleased you found the staff so kind and caring and clear in their explanations about what would happen during your visit.

It is not easy to remember details, especially when in shock, but I’m sure “the lovely one” will appreciate your kind words.

We are pleased your hip isn’t broken and wish you a speedy recovery

Regards

Patient Experience Team
