"Calm, professional and funny team for my labour and delivery"

About: Maternity care / Delivery Suite

(as a service user),

I gave birth to a beautiful baby girl at The Royal Jubilee Belfast in late July. I had a lengthy labour following induction & required a trial of assisted delivery in theatre & subsequently a c-section. 

I am extremely thankful for the care and treatment I received, particularly while in delivery suite. The staff were so calm, professional, friendly & funny all rolled into one and really made a difficult experience into a positive experience.

I want to specifically thank Claire, Kim & Anna (student midwife) for all their help. I also want to thank Alex who placed my epidural & was then present the next night with me in theatre. She explained everything so well & reassured me every step of the way.

The rest of the team were also fab & working amazingly in what I’m sure is a pressured time within our NHS.
