"Antenatal appointment"

About: Maternity care / Maternity and Gynaecology outpatient clinics

(as a service user),

I was referred to the DUO clinic as my stomach growth was measuring too small. I was nervous attending this clinic although I have now been back for the third time as my baby is measuring too big in the scans. I have to say the DUO clinic in Craigavon Hospital is great and the staff are very approachable and informative. Although the clinic is held in a small room which is not fit for the purpose of the clinic. The room is too warm, no space and their is nothing kept confidential as you can hear everything between the curtains and you are so close to other patients.

Many thanks for taking the time to share your experience. It is lovely to read that you felt the staff were approachable and supportive, I will ensure that your feedback is shared with the team.

As a unit we strive to deliver excellence in all that we do and it is through such feedback that we can improve and develop our services. Please be assured that we are currently working closely with estates to relocate the Day Obstetric Unit.
