"Impossible phone wait times"

About: Vale Medical Centre

It is absolutely impossible to get through to this surgery to make an appointment. The surgery opens at 8:00 and at 7:59 when you call and get put in the queue, there can be anywhere from 30 to 100 people ahead of you in the queue. By the time the call is answered the appointments for the day are gone. The same thing happens on following days. Why is this acceptable?

Dear Patient,

I am sorry to hear about your experience. Unfortunately at the moment we are extremely busy, with very high demand well above the usual level for this time of year. Our reception team use their expertise to help us use our resources wisely and fairly, improving patient access overall.

Please rest assured that we are doing all we can to be able to provide access to all our patients.
