"A+E was 10/10"

About: Queen Elizabeth University Hospital Glasgow / Accident & Emergency

(as a service user),

Attended for a neck injury as I was in absolute agony, receptionist, nurse and doctor (who I think was named Claire? With colourful converse) were absolutely stellar and made me feel very respected and cared for, doctor made sure I was referred into a specialist. 10/10 as the waiting time wasn't their fault

Dear GloBi

Thank you for taking the time to leave such lovely feedback in regards to your experience of attending the A&E department of the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital after your neck injury.

I was sorry to hear of the pain this caused you and the waiting time you had to endure to see a doctor. We are currently working on reducing our waiting times as you will appreciate but thank you for your patience with this.

I was happy to hear the staff treated you with dignity and respect throughout your journey and the doctor referred you to a specialist for further treatment.

I will be sure to pass on your thanks to all the staff involved who I'm sure will be delighted to hear you are on the mend.

Please take care.

Kind regards

Kevin
