"Excellent care from Aberdeen Hyperbaric centre"

About: Hyperbaric Centre

(as the patient),

I developed a decompression illness following a week of diving in the Sound of Mull.

From the quick diagnosis of photos of my signs and symptoms, to the treatment in the hyperbaric chamber and observation period with post discharge follow up phone calls, I couldn't have been cared for any better.

I felt guilty for needing a service, which was provided out of hours for an illness which was the result of a recreational sport. However the hyperbaric chamber team made me feel relaxed, comfortable and that I wasn't a burden.

Special thanks to Dr Skinner who took control of my treatment, and the nurse who spent the treatment period in the Chamber with me - Eimer.

Thank you from the bottom of my heart. Words cannot express how grateful I am.

Good Morning Jalla02.

Thank you for taking the time to send positive feedback on the treatment you received in the Hyperbaric unit in Aberdeen.

We are a relatively small unit and we greatly appreciate any feedback as this goes towards improving patient care and experience. I will pass on your comments to the staff involved and hope you continue to make a good recovery.

Best wishes,
