About: The Princess Royal Maternity Unit / Gynaecology

(as a service user),

I've a reoccurring issue that is painful and isn't being supported due to covid restrictions and budget cuts.

But the gynaecology ward 56 have been incredible.

No long waits and if I wait 10 minutes there was an apology.

Everyone prompted me to remember questions and listened to me when I asked questions.

And examined me and got me a second opinion.

Gave me reasoning for what they were doing and why.

They are stretched so thin and work for little money and never complained.

Everyone I saw including the reception staff, doctors, nurses, HCA and phlebotomy.

Giving me explanations and talking to me put me at ease and allowing my partner to sit in with me helped my anxiety and Autism.

Despite a really horrible health condition worked really well.

Your post on care opinion is very welcomed, particularly in relation to how positive your hospital experience was.
