My brother has been an inpatient at Ealing Hospital for the last 4 weeks. I am hoping that he will be discharged on Friday.
This note is to bring to your attention the excellent service from Annika, Pippa and Aisha from the Patient Experience team.
I have sent daily messages to my brother via the hospital website. I found the process a little cumbersome and fed this back to Pippa. Not only did she take on my feedback and ideas for improvement in a very constructive manner but she also provided more effective communication ideas for me to get these daily messages through to my brother.
Further, Annika and her team have provided daily feedback as to the reactions from my brother to my messages and accompanying photos. This feedback has been hugely beneficial to me as a caring and worried relative. And I know it has helped my brother.
I believe that Annika and her team have gone way beyond the job here and I have sent a separate note to the CEO asking to pass on my personal thanks.
Annika, Pippa, Aisha and her team are a credit to the NHS.
