"Nice place"

(as a staff member posting for a patient/service user),

Coming to live in a care home seemed strange at first, but once I got used to it was ok. There was another resident that knew my father and we talked and could go in the smoke room together.

It is ok, better than the other place, the food is better.  I can go into the garden here.

It is a nice place. I am happier here.  I can go into the smoking room when I want to.

Thank you for sharing with us your experience of moving into your Care Home. It is encouraging to hear you have connected with a family friend and enjoy the facilities. This is very important particularly when moving somewhere new. I am delighted to hear that you are happier and settled into Burleigh Hill House. We will be able to use your information in our work to support people when they are moving into a Care Home. Thank you for taking the time to share with us
