About: Western General Hospital / Oncology

(as the patient),

Have just had Portacath insertion for cancer chemotherapy. Could not speak more highly of Dr Jackson, Carole and the rest of the staff who put me at ease, explained everything and then demonstrated their skill in painlessly performing the procedure. 

In situations like this, even if you have medical knowledge, you can feel disempowered and anxious - their approach made sure that wasn’t the case. Outstanding.
