"Post op difficulties"

About: Queen Elizabeth University Hospital Glasgow / Medical High Dependency Unit (MHDU) Queen Elizabeth University Hospital Glasgow / Neurosurgery (Ward 64 – 66)

(as a relative),

I just want to thank Mr Mcmahon, his team and all the nursing staff for looking after our dad. Last week he experienced complications post-op. The staff went above and beyond to stabilise his condition, staying on after their shift to ensure his safety. A special mention to staff nurse Lesley and the Registrar on call who took time to reassure us and  explain everything that was happening. We are relieved that the 2nd op has helped and every day he is getting better. A big thank you to nursing and medical staff in both ward 62 and ward 60 HDU for their care and attention. The Family
