"I was in Maternity C-Section Ward. ..."

About: East Surrey Hospital

(as the patient),

What I liked

I was in Maternity C-Section Ward. The daytime staff were really good when my son was born (he was my first), they took me though all what I should be doing and helped where they could (when they could). Food was really good. It was also a very friendly atmosphere.

What could be improved

The night staff need much improvement, they complained when your baby cried as it woke up other people (we were all wake becuase all the babies cried), woke you and told you off if you fell asleep with the baby on you (even if that the only way the baby would sleep), never answered the buzzers. More sympathy and help from night staff is a must....

Also when I was in surgery they forgot to put on my tights so my legs swelled.

A few of us had to ask to be signed out as we all had enough.
