"Constant prescription mix ups"

About: Sloan Medical Centre

(as a service user),

From December 2021 to the present day my prescription has been mixed up -  medication missing, not ordered, repeat prescription going missing, mixed messages from reception staff and pharmacy staff.

I have spoken with reception and even gone through my medication one by one with them only for the next prescription to again be wrong. I asked for a review and blood test and was told by GP staff that I could have a telephone call 3 weeks after my bloods. No face to face available for at least 5 weeks after my blood test by which point I would have been out of medication by over 2 weeks.

I waited for the call only to receive a voicemail message telling me to contact the surgery to rearrange the appointment. I called the surgery and was told the GP had called me twice but my phone didn't ring. I was offered an appointment one week later, again another telephone appointment.

I find it completely unacceptable. I complained to the surgery and was told to email the manager.
