My teenage daughter attended Stirling Community Hospital (SCH) for an ultrasound of her leg. Having had one done at Forth Valley Royal Hospital (FVRH) at the start of this year when she was an in-patient, this experience was completely different.
The woman performing the ultrasound is a credit to her profession. She put my daughter at ease and explained everything in a lovely manner. My daughter came out of the scan feeling so informed and happy with how the appointment had gone. My Daughter has had multiple interactions with healthcare professionals over the last 6 months and this is the only one where she has left feeling so positive and listened to.
She thinks the lady was called Sara? So, thank you for making a nerve wracking experience for a teenager much easier. Your manner and knowledge and professionalism should be commended. A real credit to the NHS.
