"wonderful service from RACH"

About: Royal Aberdeen Children's Hospital / Accident & Emergency (Emergency Care)

(as a staff member posting for a carer/relative),

My daughter attended RACH A@E at the recommendation of 111 due to a suspected broken finger.  She was treated quickly that evening and told to return the next day for surgery.  The surgical ward were so amazing, brilliant level of care and amazing what was done for my daughter in less than 24 hours from the event!  She is proudly sporting a new orange cast for the next few weeks.  Thank you all for all your support and care you should all be very proud.

Hi aranx44

Thank you for taking the time to leave such lovely feedback about the care your daughter received in A&E and the Surgical ward following breaking her finger.

I hope she is on the mend and it doesn't prevent her from doing too many activities over the summer holidays. I am also glad to hear that she loves her orange cast - you will definitely be able to pick her out in a crowd with that colour!

The staff will be delighted to know that they have had a positive impact on her experience and I will ensure they all receive a copy of your feedback.

Thank you again.
