So, I was attending an outpatient appt for an ecg and bloods last Thurs and things went a little bit awry. 1 nurse (Michelle) and then another....and a 2nd ecg and woopsy, we're keeping you in and off I go to Ward 21/CCU.
Safe to say , I was in shock, upset and terrified altogether.
All for a moment .... then I was treated with the utmost empathy and care from the A team on the ward.
Gillian, Sam, Nadine, Rachael, Una and I'm sorry I can't remember the other stars.
Totally put me at ease in what was a frightening situation. We laughed, I cried , we laughed some more , and nothing was a bother even though they were short staffed. And ....the food was actually quite good :-)
Dr Francis was amazing , explained everything clearly and concise and ldft no stone unturned. He has an uber amazing team of Angels.
I escaped on Saturday morning (only because I felt like a fraud using a bed when there were sure to be people more needy.
On the ball , on the case and on form.
I have no doubt we shall encounter each other in the very near future with imminent tests due.
Til then, keep smiling through the rain 21 gang and many many thanks for 5 star treatment.
"Treated with the utmost empathy and care"
