"Getting a mole removed"

About: Forth Valley Royal Hospital / Surgical Skin Team

(as the patient),

I was very nervous and frightened but the staff put me at ease from the beginning. Kirsty, Alisha and student Jacqueline were very kind,  helpful and knowledgeable. The op was done quickly and very efficiently, Kirsty talked me through every step of the way ,including after treatment. I'm nervous about needles but Kirsty used a small one and was very gentle..she made sure the anaesthetic made the area was completely numb before she began the op .It was painless ..just a pulling sensation when the stitches were being done .It was all over quickly and I felt informed and safe the whole time .Many thanks to all the staff ..you all do a wonderful job ! .

Thank you for leaving such lovely feedback about your recent visit to our department, I have shared this with the team.

It is natural to feel anxious about these procedures and I am pleased that we helped you feel more at ease.

I hope your wound is healing well.

Thanks again.

Kirsty
