I visited the hospital's Cardiology Department in person on 29 June, because I had a query about an upcoming appointment and I had been unable to get through by phone. I was able to speak immediately to the lady in the Outpatient C Reception. She was very kind and was able to help me straight away with my query and put my mind at rest. One thing that concerned me (not directly related to Cardiology) was that, in the main hospital reception area and in the corridor leading down from it, all of the seating had been removed. This is very distressing, especially for an elderly person, and it should be restored as soon as possible. Other hospitals such as the Whittington and the Royal Free have plenty of seating in and around the reception areas.
