"Speech and language therapy"

My partner was referred for speech and language. He has busbar paulsy. The Speech and language therapist contacted him and said they would visit him in our home. On the day, they didn't turn up so I called and was told they were off due to sickness, I complained that nobody had contacted us to let us know.... I asked to be contacted as soon as they got back but heard nothing, I emailed and asked for contact to rearrange,  I am still waiting, it's been almost two weeks.... meanwhile he has his appointment for his pre-op for a brain tumour and we were hoping to discuss many things with the SLT as he may need a PEG .... this is worrying and frustrating,
