Unfortunately in my local hospital trust there was a very large waiting list for to be seen for the breast clinic but I was offered to attend Forth Valley outpatient breast clinic.
When I attended the clinic I was directed to the appointment waiting area by the receptionist who was cheery and informative. I was seen very quickly and greeted by a lovely Health care assistant who had assisted with the appointment alongside the consultant. I was very impressed with the care and attention they both expressed at the appointment and they couldn't have made me feel anymore at ease. As I work in the NHS myself I realise how stretched services are and how it can impact on staff morale. They were highly professional and a true credit to the clinic.
Unfortunately I wasn't able to find out the name of the health care assistant but I hope this message reaches her. The consultant was Katherine
Thank you both again for your care and attention at my appointment, very much appreciated :)
