"Great help from Tracy and team"

About: Adult Health and Social Care Localities / Rehab Services Eastwood

(as the patient),

After almost 3 years of hardly any help or indeed interest from my GP re my deteriorating mobility issues, was only when my wife (having helped me walk into the surgery) asked if there was any practical help we could get at home. The Dr bizarrely thought I wouldn’t get any help as I was too young!

However after we pressed he did refer us to the team at Eastwood. Within half an hour we received a call from Tracy offering any help.

From there on we received so much practical help… walkers, shower chair, toilet aids, bed aids and terrific advice from Tracy and other professionals. Made a huge difference to my life and if any doctors read this, as long as you are over the age of 16 you can get help. Age doesn’t matter!

For the first time in 3 years we finally felt properly supported both in practical and emotional ways.
