"Quality of care and visiting arrangements"

About: St Lukes Hospice

(as a staff member posting for a carer/relative),

The quality of care my brother is receiving [at St Luke's Hospice] is first class.  I could not ask for better care.  The staff are like angels, so attentive, warm and always willing to help.

The only problem is with having named people to see him.  He's the patriarch of the family and has numerous family and friends who want to show their love.  So many have been turned away which is so sad as we don't know how long my brother has.

Thank you all and may you all continue to be abundantly blessed.

Thank you for taking the time to give us your feedback. I will ensure that I pass on your comments to the whole team.

We do appreciate how restrictive the covid-19 visiting rules are. however we must be mindful that our patients are clinically extremely vulnerable to COVID-19. The latest variant of this virus is highly transferrable and therefore we should not be complacent in preventing the spread of this infection. We review the visiting rules regularly with our infection prevention teams.
