"Great source of advice and encouragement"

About: Lanarkshire Community Services / Hospital at Home

(as a relative),

My wife was being treated by GP for a urine infection , and developed delirium and was not responding to GP treatment . We were not aware of the Hospital at home service until our GP referred her . What an excellent service. . A nurse attended within a few hours and did a thorough exam , followed shortly by the consultant . A plan was put in place with daily visits for seven days . Concluding when blood and urine tests were satisfactory .

All medical staff who attended were very professional and a great source of advice and encouragement , my wife and I thank them all , DR.Steel nurses Mandy , lou, and Martin .
