"Reassuring oncology appointment"

My partner was called in for a face-to-face consultation with his oncology specialist, Mr Waters. It is now just over 5 years since his last chemotherapy treatment and this was likely to be the final appointment unless new symptoms arise. 

He had a number of questions, fears and concerns he wanted to raise and Mr Waters answered them all fully, clearly and compassionately. He conducted a reassuring physical examination and even injected a little, much-appreciated, humour into the discussions. It was a very positive experience.
