"Stobhill GP Out of Hours Centre, excellent service."

I write to express my thanks and appreciation for the excellent attention I received at the Out Of Hours service at Stobhill early in the hours of Friday 17th June.

After triage by NHS 24 a helpful doctor on the phone arranged an appointment for me at midnight at the Out of Hours centre.

I was seen within 10 minutes of arrival by a very pleasant nurse and then by a very efficient and capable young doctor (possibly called Issy) who took my history and examined my chest, then correctly diagnosed a chest infection secondary to Covid and provided me with a full course of Amoxicillin.

Within two days I felt very much better and now feel almost fully back to normal, which I suspect would not have happened without this excellent attention.

It was lovely to read your story, and to learn that you had been so well cared for by NHS 24 staff and by colleagues from NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde. I am sure they will be equally delighted to read your positive feedback. It's always so reassuring to read a story like yours, where a patient's care is managed by more than one Health Board in a smooth and efficient way.

Dear kharden,

Thank you for taking the time to share your positive experience with NHS 24 and GP OOH. I am delighted that you felt the care you received in GP OOHs at Stobhill was excellent along with our helpful GP who carried out a telephone consultation with you that contributed to a good experience.

We appreciate when staff are recognised for the professionalism, care and compassion that we strive to achieve at all times.
