I completely get the nhs sector is stretched to their limit and struggling to cope but the system in place is clearly outdated and in need of a massive revamp. After calling multiple dentists and asking for an emergency appointment as an unregistered patient I was unsuccessful ( haven't been able to get registered since covid due to so called not taking on new patients/ being at capacity) I visited the pharmacist to be told to contact nhs 111. I have been on the phone waiting to talk to someone for the last 2 hours, the call hasn't even been answered and I'm in severe pain and loosing the will to live... what happened to the Somerset dental health line? Why was this service stopped?
