"Treatment for social anxiety with Talk Together Bromley"

I feel very lucky to have received treatment for social anxiety with Talk Together Bromley. In 2021 I was experiencing bad anxiety, which was the catalyst for me to seek out treatment. Accessing the service was easy for me and the initial form not difficult to fill in. Within a few days I was called by an assessor who was very helpful and reassuring. They asked if I would be comfortable being paired with a trainee therapist to which I agreed, and after a wait period I was paired with Marina. We had 15 sessions over the period of 6 or 7 months and I am very grateful to her and Talk Together Bromley for all they have done to help me and enable me to continue to move forward. Throughout the process, I always felt reassured, supported and comfortable. There was a level of equality between me and my therapist that I appreciated despite it being virtual, and I feel I have now come out the other side with the awareness, knowledge and tools to continue my growth.
