After suffering with sore feet for years and being told exercises were the only treatment needed my doctor referred me to the Podiatrist at the Western Infirmary.
After a very in depth consultation which included blood tests, xrays and advice but most importantly I felt as if Mr. Thomson listened to my symptoms.
It was decided that the best route would be an ultrasound and I was diagnosed with PLANTAR FASCIITIS even though this was still painful I felt as if I was getting somewhere.
At my follow up appointment it was decided that I would have an injection under ultrasound. I was told everything that was going to happen to me and put at ease. Instead of me dreading any more follow up appointments I could now go in with a better frame of mind.
Mr Thomson was so understanding and at last I feel as if I can get back on track with my life as before I was very restricted in my social activities.
"my very painful feet and the help i received"
