"Treatment after road accident"

About: Musgrove Park Hospital / Accident and emergency Musgrove Park Hospital / General surgery South Western Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust / Emergency ambulance

(as the patient),

Knocked off my bicycle in Chard, came to face down in the gravel, dazed and confused.

Ambulance to Musgrove, A and E patched me up, x rays etc, fractured pelvis and bruised shoulder with associated gravel rash.

I was moved on to the acute medicine ward , then onto Hestercombe.  The treatment all round was marvelous, caring and professional  with a much needed sense of humour.

I had 5 days of pampering, great, but I don't want to have to repeat it!
