"Poor communication"

About: University Hospital Monklands / Gastroenterology (Ward 10)

(as a service user),

Had a phone consultation witrh Monklands Hospital IBD nurse clinic at start of year, nurse said I would be sent out forms to get bloods taken and information leaflet. Nothing received. Nurse phoned a few weeks later to ask if the info had been sent. Still no. Had appointment scheduled for two weeks ago. That was rescheduled due to staff sickness (totally understandable). Nurse called to say they would arrange appointment for bloods. Heard nothing. Had missed calls from hospital the following day but no messages left. Turned up two days later for appointment to be told it had been rescheduled. Now I have had to rearrange another day of meetings to attend appointment. Hopefully this appointment happens if not I will be asking if I can get care transferred to another hospital.
