(as a service user),

Alcohol became an issue when my mum died i started to binge drink and started to become suicidal, but with the help of cgl and the support of the support workers I've now been 12 weeks sober and mentally stronger within myself and more positive with my outlook on life the groups are very informative and give you a reel learning curve on the effects of substance abuse.

12 weeks that's amazing. well done. From where you have been that is a real achievement. You have experienced some significant loss and we all deal with that in different ways. You are in a good place now and that positive outlook will be what focusses you on your future. Amazing!
