"Colonoscopy - very comfortable!"

I had my 3rd routine colonoscopy today (one every 5 years due to family history of bowel cancer). The nurses and staff in the endoscopy unit were all kind and friendly and you really feel at ease and looked after. I was nervous as I declined sedation and entonox due to other health concerns. The colonoscopy was performed by the consultant and it was the easiest and most comfortable one I have ever had. She was brilliant! Thank you to everyone on the endoscopy unit, see you again in 5 years.
