"Positive experience at the Ulster hospital"

About: The Ulster Hospital / Medical Day Case Unit The Ulster Hospital / Ward 5D (Endo/Renal)

(as a service user),

I was admitted in January 2022 for tests to find out what was wrong with me.   I was in for 5 weeks got lots of examinations,  ct scans etc , dozens of blood tests and a leg conduction tests which showed I had guillian barre syndrome.  I was given 5 infusions of immunoglobulin and went home , saw the consultant and he said it was now c I d p , so had to go to ward 21 as a day patient for 5 more infusions of immunoglobulin.

My treatment in both ward 5d and ward 21 was second to none.  The nurse are so pleasant and full of fun , and very attentive it made my experience so much better
