"Being patient with patients"

About: The Nottingham Centre for Transgender Health

(as a service user),

The lady I sent an email to last week at Nottingham transgender services... They have been very patient with me over the years.

First I kept cancelling my appointments because I was looking after my mother and father. Then last week I cancelled my appointment because I lost my nerve.

It must be very frustrating for them when patients keep cancelling their appointments. They have been very patient with me.

Thank you for taking the time to give your feedback, we do appreciate it. We know how difficult life can be sometimes so find it helpful when patients do let us know that they cannot attend.

Please rearrange the appointment as our clinicians are here to help you and there is no right or wrong answers. Appointments can make people nervous, however we hope that you will find it really helpful and look back thinking there was nothing to have worried about.
