"Efficient and professional care for ankle injury"

About: University Hospital Wishaw / Emergency Department

(as the patient),

I went over on my ankle causing it to be very swollen. I went to Wishaw general a&e department and was seen by Laura within 30 minutes of arrival.

Laura put me at ease and asked me questions to establish circumstances. She took me to x ray and brought me back. I had a minor break on the bone. She gave me a boot and showed me how to use crutches.

There was nothing rushed and I was dealt with so quickly and with a high degree of professionalism.

Thank you Laura and our wonderful NHS staff.
