About: Antrim Area Hospital / Dental Surgery

(as a service user),

Attended day surgery unit in antrim this morning for my daughter to have dental surgery. Understandably she was very nervous but the staff in the unit were amazing. Vivien one of the nurses helped ease her and talk her through the situation. The dentists, dental nurses, anaethatists and nurses were all fantastic and I couldn't have asked for better care for my daughter!

My name is Marbeth King and I am the Interim Lead Nurse for Day Surgery.

I am delighted to hear that you daughter had such a positive experience in day surgery. The staff are a very happy team and this helps patients to feel less nervous in what can be a very stressful time.

Part of our role is ensuring that patients feel safe and secure. I am very proud of whole team and I will share your feedback with everyone. I know that they will be delighted especially Vivien to read your kind words.
