About: York Hospital

My brother was in ICU with sepsis after chemo for blood cancer. The staff were very professional and caring and the atmosphere in the unit was very calm. I never felt I was being a nuisance when I rang to find out how he was doing or making an appt. to visit. Sadly my brother died on 04 June. ICU though did everything they could to save him so a big thank you to the staff that treated and cared for him throughout his stay and in the last few hours of his life and for the sympathy we received after he passed away.

Thank you so much for taking the time to share your thoughts with us at such a sad time for you; we really appreciate all of the feedback we receive.

It is heartening to hear that you feel your brother and yourselves as his family, received professional and caring support in a calm atmosphere in ICU during his illness, the last few hours of his life and following his death.
