I have Crohns disease and since getting my covid injections I've had issues with my symptoms and I feel continuously dismissed and let down. There is no care or consideration taken into account. Loss of contact or no contact. Lost samples and feeling let down always.
As an example I was in for an infusion for new drugs and to be taught on how to administer the drug at home, once receiving these items at home. Nurse within the MDU team called on my behalf to understand when the training was to be taking place and the IBD specialist was too busy to come and help and the one that arranged to meet me was on annual leave.
Feel genuinely disappointed with everything and the way I'm being treated by the team. There are no consultants available and looking after us as a group anymore and I'm feeling less than cared for.
Previously I would have rated the team highly but the feeling of care to their patients is less now. Can't believe I'm writing this and granted covid has had a big impact on everyone's life, but when you're begging and crying for help often with no support and feeling you have no support system, it is extremely exhausting.
I can only but hope this improves in time!
