We received amazing care from a specialist practitioner at 11pm for my Dad after calling 999, who was having breathing problems due to a recent cancer diagnosis.

The gentleman was caring, incredibly knowledgeable and we felt very safe. He contacted the out of hours consultant at our local hospice and was able to assist my Dad very quickly. He stayed with him to check his progress and talked with us about his condition, which we found incredibly helpful and reassuring.

Thank goodness for the special people who do this work with such passion, we have nothing but praise for the prompt service we received on that night. Thank you again for your expert care, reassurance and empathy, it was amazing.

We do hope your dad is feeling much better now and we are delighted to hear that the EMAS specialist practitioner was able to help your dad in what must have been a scary time for all of you. We are very proud of all of our ambulance crews and during these busy times, receiving compliments means such a lot to our staff.
