"A positive experience at Grantham's Tower Block, Women's services"

I was invited to attend a fast track gynae appointment this month.

I was nervous and keen to get the appointment over with.

I was met by the friendliest ladies at the front door, and then a very warm and chatty nurse, who weighed and measured me before I was called in to the clinical room to see the specialist.

Again, I was made to feel welcome by friendly nurses who radiated kindness. I was then introduced to the specialist who explained the results of my scan, explained clearly what the next step would be and how this would take place. Everything was explained and I was asked if I was ok after the examination, offered a drink and encouraged at every step. I even had my hand held.

It was a good outcome and I was left encouraged that my condition could be alleviated with a simple medication, that would transform my symptoms.

I left thanking God for the NHS and the committed and wonderful staff who serve us. Thank you
