About: Inclusion Isle of Wight

(as a service user),

I've just got back from spending the day at Fort Victoria. I was gently encouraged to show up at the hub and go fishing and have a barbecue in the west Wight, organised by Tony from Inclusion. It was an awesome day out. The human connection/ interaction I have gained from services has been an absolute lifeline back into 'normal' society. I spent some of the day talking with Kirstie about recovery and mental health, which I found invaluable. If you are prepared to engage with services, there is a lot of positive experiences to be had.

Hi scorecardcb85

Firstly I would like to thank you for taking the time for leaving some feedback, it’s great to hear you have been part of our bank holiday activities as it’s a real great opportunity to get amongst peers and get involved in all sorts of different recovery activities, we have had a lot of these day and have facilitated things from music workshops to recovery walks and boxing day bingo and much much more. It’s also great to hear you are speaking with the volunteers and peers as this is a real positive when it comes to building recovery capital. We wish you well with your continued journey and hopefully in the future you can become involved with our service user rep or volunteering program.

Many thanks and we wish you luck with your continued recovery journey.
