I was in a lot of pain for 3 days and after begging to be seen by my GP he told me to go in and see him. He thought I may have quinsy and so he called QEUH to ask for advice. They told me to go straight up to see them.
When I arrived I was only waiting 5/10 mins and then two lovely nurses took me in to assess me. I had a camera put up my nose and down in to my mouth and was told I had a severe tonsillitis infection. I was kept in for around 5 hours getting an IV drip, IV antibiotics, steroids and pain killers.
I was an absolute nervous wreck and in so much pain but Kirstie (I think) and Ross made me feel very at ease, they were honestly so lovely! That was my first time in QEUH and I really am impressed!
