About: Altnagelvin Area Hospital / Gynaecology

(as the patient),

After having my elective c-section I began to have issues with my wound. I was increasingly anxious about it.

Unfortunately I didn’t feel my GP was managing it so got reviewed by the tissue viability team in Altnagelvin Hospital. They were reassuring from the start. Gave me a management plan and were confident they could get my wound healed. And they did!

Can’t thank them enough for easing my anxiety and for their knowledge and skill. Forever indebted to these girls.
