"Bad experience at emergency help"

About: Leicester Royal Infirmary / Accident and emergency

(as the patient),

I asked for help with heart pain and the risk of thrombosis. But then I saw that the receptionist wrote that I had pain in my legs. I felt very bad. I waited 4 hours!!! and left without going to the doctor. Then I found out that some people wait for 6 hours. This to me means that the medical care is not enough, and there are not enough medical personnel for the needs of the entire city. I think it is absolutely unacceptable for it to take so long, I feel it's a mockery of sick people. And why can't you just make an appointment for a certain time to the right specialist?

In addition, the reception staff were very unfriendly, and even aggressive. When I approached them several times and wanted to say I didn’t feel well, they weren't listening to me. I wanted to find someone who has time to explain to me how everything works here, or a manager or administrator, they were told there was no one here and no one would help, and that I should go to my doctor. But my doctor referred me here.

So, it was the worst experience I've ever had with the medical service. And I never got medical help, but I got a lot of indifference and rudeness.
