I always enjoy coming to the gym.
The occupational therapists and physiotherapists have helped me quite a lot to get back to some level of where I was before I came in to hospital. There are lots of different machines available to help me to strengthen both my arms and my legs, including an exercise bike.
The meals are good here and the food is varied with different meal choices.
Even though the nurses can be busy here, they always respond to your calls in a timely manner.
There are quite a few different group sessions here which help to bring patients together, for example breakfast group, baking group and gardening group. I think these groups have been very helpful because they help you to become more independent with doing these tasks at home. They have given me more confidence in myself because I have done tasks such as washing up while standing at a sink which didn't seem likely before I tried it.
Thank you to all the staff here who have helped me to improve a lot and regain my independence.
