"BBR responses are not reflecting the problems imo"

Many complain of not getting through by telephone, not getting a face to face appointment or receiving the right advice / care only to be responded to on this website imo from reading the replies stereotypically. We cannot be poorly to "order" between 9 and 5 Monday to Friday, get through on the telephone successfully, or have all our symptoms diagnosed correctly by a telephone call. Different online phone call Doctors equates to a different diagnosis. This "try it and see how it goes" approach can waste eveyones time and most importantly the patient suffers more as a result. You will respond by saying "please give more specific details - or write and complain to..." but I and many more (patients, please feel free to agree with me here) believe that you need to generally listen and take a more serious look at how BBR surgery puts into practice improvements for the benefit of all to save on the repetitiveness of many complaints.

I personally have suffered misdiagnosis, ongoing complex health issues, not helped at all by the "appointment / telephone appointment / different face to face Doctors appointments" so have first hand experience to say the least.

Dear Patient

Thank you for your feedback. I am sorry that you feel the surgery does not meet the standards you expect. I assure you that we are working very hard on a daily basis to improve the service we provide. In December 2021 a new telephone system was installed which helps the surgery monitor the volume of calls and also lets the patient know where they are in a queue. We also have the extended access service where appointments are available on an evening and a weekend for our patients, these are based at alternative sites but are not manned by the Doctors from the Surgery. I am sorry that you have suffered with your health and feel this is not helped by seeing/speaking to different Doctors. The surgery cannot guarantee you will be able to see/speak to the same GP each time depending on the GPs availability, however, we do try to meet the patients needs wherever possible. If you do wish to discuss this with myself further, please do not hesitate to contact me via the surgery.
