I had a fall on some stone steps & damaged my nose & face. I received first aid care at the scene from members of the public, an ambulance was called but would take 1.5-3hrs to arrive. My husband drove me to A&E as the bleeding was severe.
There was no receptionist available when we first arrived but shortly after a member of staff spotted me & took us straight through to triage. They immediately took control of the bleeding & remained with me for some time until members of the ENT team arrived to clean & stitch the wound, a big thank you to Harrison & Theresa.
I am so grateful for the combined efforts of all who helped me that day from the excellent nursing staff to the Dr's & specialists.
I felt reassured throughout, I couldn't have had better care anywhere else.
