"I was desperate for investigation and treatment"

I am writing to log the Complainant about the time I have been in Mayday A&E department and seen by very rude and unvarying Doctors .

On Sunday evening I went to A&E due severe abdomen pain, I have been seen by doctor after 5 hours long waiting .

First Doctor was fantastic. They had made a plan of proper treatment and investigation, unfortunately their shift got changed and the doctor who has took over have cancelled all plan and have told me according to them I have some stone in kidney due that was pain. The doctor will treat as UTI (Urinary Tract Infection) and advices me: please take this antibiotic and go home, keep taking a pain killers because nothing else I can do or see afterwards your GP.

If my GP were very helpful I wouldn’t have gone to A&E, I was desperate for investigation and treatment .

I was left without option and I went home. The doctor didn’t took into consideration my diagnosis and how much I am exposed on risk due my diagnosis one of them is Lupus, also in discharge summary has written that they have given me oral IV (Intravenous) fluids which I have never received.

I was four days at home and my condition didn’t improve, even I have completed the course of the medication, then that night I went to A&E once more .

While booking my condition and informing of my pain level, no one took into consideration offering pain killer or seeing me earlier. I have seen people comes after myself and seen before me. Eventually Doctor called me after 5 hours long waiting, I was shocked of their behaviour and words, I found them extremely rude!

The doctor have told me why I have come back to A&E? that is only for emergency and I should of gone to GP!

First full I have right of treatment, secondary the doctor shouldn’t spoken to me such a words or on that level. Instead of being carefully looking into my history of illness, diagnosis and present issue why I am at A&E and instead they should try to help me. The doctor was so rude and unhelpful to me. Most people who go to hospital especially A&E have something very painful, and I was not the only case. There was group of people which was experiencing same situations as me from same doctor, whoever the doctor seen doesn’t spend with the patient more than 5 minutes!

Unfortunately this website doesn’t allow to mention other people's names, otherwise surely I would mention the cases and names who there was sharing same experience as me.

I am raising this complaint not because NHS is a bad system but to ensure that someone senior on board to overlook what was going on during the patients time in the hospital.

If each of them has been attended on time and treated as soon as he was seen.

Some patients who require blood test investigation need to be seen first and possibly explained that lab might take up to 1-2 hours for their results in order to make correct treatment.
