"Getting a Doctors appointment"

About: General practices in Lanarkshire

(as a service user),

Can't get a Doctors appointment unless I phone at 8:30 am then it is fastest finger wins, once appointments are allocated there is no waiting list and you have to try again, you need to have a pee before you are on hold though or tie your legs together. This is very impracticable and can be embarrassing I don't want to tell every one what is wrong, some things are personal, if you work your employer wont be please at no notice for time off. I find it difficult to think the Doctors would come up with this nonsense maybe this is a government  decision? OH I have to go need a pee

Dear felixthecat

I am sorry to read you are having problems obtaining an appointment with your GP.

I would like to advise that GP's are independent contractors and do not hold a licence with Care Opinion therefore cannot respond directly.

I would advise you contact the Practice Manager of your Medical Centre and explain your issues where I am sure they will investigate on your behalf.

I wish you well for the future.

Best wishes

Jean
